A thick, clear acrylic rod that supports this unusual modern floor lamp in the front is supported by a thick, plated polished nickel finish rod in back. Made of forged iron, the back rod and base feature hard edges and square corners that echo the design of the rectangle hardback shade in white linen with light slubbing. A handy foot switch operates this light from atop the base.
